An Antiguan IBC can be used as the registered owner of a ship or other type of sea-going vessel. The IBC would normally register the vessel under the Antigua and Barbuda flag.

CMAL can facilitate the expeditious formation of your IBC and subsequent registration of your vessel. The following, are some of the documents would be required in order to have the vessel registered:

bulletOriginal written application for registration.
bulletProof of Ownership of the Vessel.
bulletA Certificate of Seaworthiness.
bulletA Survery Certificate.
bulletProof of cancellation of registration in a foreign country, if applicable.
bulletProposed name of the vessel whilst flying the Antiguan flag.
bulletNumber Port and Year of Registry.
bulletPresent name and call sign, if applicable.
bulletCopy of Bill of Sale or Builder's Certificate.
bulletClassification Society.
bulletOwner's Particulars- name, address, contact numbers.
bulletRadio Accounting Authority.
bulletCopy of current Certificate of Registration, if applicable.
